The Israeli occupation army revealed on Saturday that one of its military helicopters was destroyed recently by an anti-tank projectile fired by al-Qassam Brigades fighters.
Israel’s Channel 13 quoted an Israeli military source as saying that an Israeli army helicopter was shot down on the first day of Hamas’s surprise attack on Israeli military sites around Gaza.
The channel displayed pictures of charred remains of a helicopter claiming it was carrying a number of paratroopers when al-Qassam Brigades downed it with an RPG projectile.
According to the channel the paratroopers were going into action against Palestinian gunmen in Be&rsquoeri settlement near the eastern border of Gaza when their helicopter suddenly came under attack.
