The Hamas Movement has affirmed that the Israeli occupation’s detention campaign against its cadres in the occupied West Bank will not dissuade the Palestinian people from fulfilling their national duty.
In a statement on Sunday Hamas said that the detention of Hamas-affiliated citizens and members of their families including their children and women in the West Bank would not stop the Movement’s cadres from resisting the occupation repelling attacks of its forces and settlers and supporting their compatriots in Gaza.
Hamas accused the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) of arresting and assaulting its members and their families to punish them for their support for the resistance.
&ldquoThe enemy is delusional if it thinks that our people can take a step backward. Al-Aqsa Flood is raging and will put an end to the occupation and break the chains of prisons regardless of the sacrifices&rdquo the Movement said.
During the past few days the IOF in the West Bank launched a large-scale arrest campaign that targeted hundreds of Hamas members including lawmakers leaders and ex-detainees as well as some of their relatives.
