The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a massive arrest campaign in al-Khalil and Bethlehem to the south of the West Bank at dawn Wednesday.
28 Palestinians were rounded up in al-Khalil raids including MP Muhammad Al-Tal and nearly 16 ex-prisoners.
Similar raids were also reported in Bethlehem resulting in the arrest of 15 Palestinians.
The growing Israeli arrest campaigns in the West Bank came in a failed attempt to abort any anticipated rallies in support of the Gaza Strip.
According to the health ministry 61 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since October 7 including 14 children and women.
