Hundreds of thousands of pro-Palestine supporters marched in various countries in the world on Saturday with the biggest demonstrations being held in London and Dublin.
Organized by Friends of Al-Aqsa the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB) the Palestine Solidarity Campaign and other groups in Britain pro-Palestine marchers could be seen waving Palestine flags as they moved through Piccadilly Circus one of London’s main iconic sites.
Organizers said at least 300000 people participated in the march dubbing it the biggest pro-Palestine march in Europe in 20 years. The participants called for ending the Israeli war on Gaza and denounced their government for supporting Israel in its &ldquogenocide&rdquo against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
A similar massive march grouping more than 100000 participants was held in the Irish capital Dublin in which they called for an immediate end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Politicians called for recognizing the state of Palestine and for boycotting Israeli products.
Similar demonstrations were held in Malaysia Canada Turkiye USA Germany Macedonia Tunisia and Morocco.
