Hamas political leader Ismail Haneyya met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Wednesday to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and possible ways to stop the Israeli attacks.
During the meeting Haneyya praised Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s today speech and the ongoing efforts made by Turkish diplomacy headed by Hakan at the regional and international levels to help the Palestinian people and their just cause.
Haneyya stressed the need for the international community to assume its humanitarian responsibility towards the Israeli war crimes against the people of Gaza.
For his part the Turkish foreign minister reaffirmed Ankara’s support for the Palestinian people and the urgent need to provide humanitarian aid to the enclave.
Fidan also expressed Turkey’s condemnation of the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and the necessity of finding a political solution to the crisis.
