19 days of aggression and the massacres continue

The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continued for its nineteenth day Wednesday with the ongoing implementation of brutal massacres airstrikes and the shedding of civilian blood resulting in more martyrs while the humanitarian consequences of the war of starvation thirst medicine deprivation and fuel blockade continue to escalate.

The PIC correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes continued to carry out dozens of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip targeting the homes of citizens facilities and gatherings in an unprecedented violation against civilians resulting in the martyrdom and injury of many.

Medical and local sources reported the martyrdom of six citizens due to an Israeli shelling that targeted a poultry farm east of Khan Yunis.

Five citizens were martyred due to an Israeli shelling on a house in the Nusairat camp.

A local source reported the retrieval of five martyrs after the occupation shelled the “Al-Farra” family’s house in Khan Yunis. The body of the citizen Isam Tawfiq Al-Farra and his three daughters Adyan Toqa and Rosol was identified and there are still missing individuals under the rubble.

Two journalists from Al-Aqsa TV channel were martyred this morning due to Zionist shelling in the northern Gaza Strip raising the number of journalist martyrs to 22 since the beginning of the aggression.

Media sources confirmed the martyrdom of the journalist Sa’ed Al-Halabi after the occupation shelled his house in Jabalia refugee camp.

The Israeli warplanes shelled a house belonging to the “Abu Saud” family in the Nujoom neighborhood in Rafah south of the Strip resulting in several martyrs and injuries.

The PIC correspondent reported the martyrdom of a woman and a child due to the Israeli bombardment of the home of the Amer’s family on Abu Al-Rish Street in the Al-Masakir area west of Khan Yunis.

As announced by medical sources citizen Samir Ziad Kamal Al-Qudra was martyred in the targeting of his house yesterday in Khan Younis.

Israeli occupation warplanes destroyed a mosque on Al-Jala’ Street in Gaza City.

The PIC correspondent reported that the Israeli warplanes bombed a goods warehouse full of cleaning products on Al-Nuzha Street in the center of Jabalia. 

The Ministry of Interior reported the martyrdom of 16 citizens so far and a number of injuries in the Israeli occupation’s overnight targeting of citizens’ homes in the Al-Huja area in Jabalia Tal Al-Hawa south of Gaza City the Nusseirat camp and Kizan Al-Najjar in Khan Younis.

Injuries were recorded in the bombing by Israeli warplanes on the Al-Helis building near Al-Quds Hospital in the south of Gaza City.

Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Ghubn family in Al-Shate’ refugee camp in western Gaza and a house on Al-Ajarrma Street in Jabalia camp while more than 15 violent airstrikes were carried out in various areas in Rafah City in the Gaza Strip.

The PIC correspondent reported that 7 civilians were killed and others were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation’s shelling of a bakery in Al-Mughazi camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli warplanes also carried out more than 15 airstrikes in the Ma’an Wadi Al-Qareen Al-Fakhari Abasan and Khoza’a areas in Khan Younis with the continued intense artillery bombardment east of the Gaza Strip.

The continuation of the airstrikes and massacres by the occupation comes after a bloody day in which dozens of massacres were committed and the number of martyrs exceeded 800.

On Tuesday evening the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the occupation committed 47 massacres against Palestinian families in the past few hours resulting in the martyrdom of 704 victims.

The PIC correspondent confirmed that Israel carried out dozens of airstrikes following this announcement resulting in the deaths of nearly 100 martyrs. The most intense airstrikes were in Khan Younis where 50 martyrs were killed in one hour.

 There has been a lot of talk in the past day about the Israeli use of internationally prohibited weapons and projectiles. 

Salama Maarouf head of the government media office confirmed that there is clear evidence of the occupation’s use of unconventional and internationally banned weapons and ammunition including white phosphorus which is evident in the burns on the bodies of martyrs and the wounded melting their skin and even their upper and lower limbs.

Marouf said that Israel bombed the Gaza Strip with more than 12000 tons of explosives equivalent to the power of the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima with an average of 33 tons of explosives being dropped per square kilometer in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression.

Results of the aggression 
Marouf confirmed in a press conference presenting the results of the aggression on its eighteenth day that the number of martyrs has risen since the start of the Israeli Nazi occupation’s holocaust on October 7th to 5791 martyrs including 2360 children 1292 women and girls and 295 elderly people. In addition there are 1550 missing martyrs under the rubble while 16297 civilians have been injured.

The occupation committed 644 massacres against Palestinian families resulting in the martyrdom of 4292 victims most of whom are women and children. This confirms that the occupation is carrying out a holocaust against the Palestinian people with the aim of killing and increasing the cost of victims.

He mentioned that in the Gaza Strip one person out of every 100 citizens is either martyred or injured due to the continuous Israeli Nazi holocaust in the Strip.

He also pointed out that the total number of displaced persons reached about 1.4 million citizens accounting for 70% of the population of the Strip distributed in more than 222 shelter centers including 100 centers in Gaza and the northern part of the Strip.

He indicated that more than 183000 housing units were damaged as a result of the ongoing aggression accounting for 50% of the housing units in the Strip and more than 28000 housing units were completely demolished or rendered uninhabitable by the Israeli aggression. The aerial strikes also destroyed 75 government buildings and dozens of public and service facilities causing significant damage to them.

177 schools were damaged including 32 schools that are out of service while the Israeli air raids continued to target water electricity and sewage networks taking a number of them out of service. Israel also continued to target churches and mosques with 35 mosques and 3 churches being severely damaged.
