The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed more than 688 massacres against Palestinian families during which about 4807 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th.
The head of the Gaza government media office Salama Maarouf held a press conference on Wednesday evening presenting the daily update on Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip which continues for the 19th consecutive day.
Maarouf began the conference by offering condolences to journalist Wael al-Dahdouh.
Maarouf pointed out that the death toll of the Israeli bloody aggression has risen to 6546 martyrs including 2704 children 1584 women and girls and 364 elderly people in addition to 1600 missing people under the rubble including 900 children while 17439 citizens were injured.
He pointed out that more than 183000 housing units were destroyed and damaged by the ongoing aggression and 50 percent of the housing units in the Gaza Strip became uninhabitable.
Maarouf stated that 77 government headquarters and dozens of public and service facilities were destroyed while 188 schools were damaged 35 of them became out of service.
He also pointed out that the Israeli warplanes continued to target water electricity and sewage networks putting a number of them out of service.
35 mosques were completely destroyed and three churches were severely damaged during the attacks.
