Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas has vowed to give the Israeli occupation army a greater defeat than what it already had stressing that “the freedom of all the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails is the price for the enemy’s captives in Gaza.”
“The enemy will taste a greater defeat than what it has expected or feared. The time of Zionism’s collapse has started” spokesman for the Brigades Abu Obeida said in a televised speech on Saturday evening.
Abu Obeida also underscored that “the era of the enemy’s alleged military and intelligence superiority is over.”
The spokesman pointed out that there was an opportunity to reach a deal regarding the Israeli captives in Gaza but the Israelis missed it.
“The price to pay for the large number of enemy hostages in our hands is to empty the [Israeli] prisons of all Palestinian prisoners” the spokesman affirmed.
“If the enemy wants to close this file of detainees in one go we are ready for it. If it wants to do it step-by-step we are ready for that too” he said.
He reiterated al-Qassam Brigades’ readiness to confront the Israeli occupation forces and thwart its ground operation. “We say to the enemy which repeats its threats every day that we are still waiting for it.”
