Families of the Israeli captives held in Gaza by al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas and other resistance factions demanded the Israeli government on Saturday to stop its massive bombardment of the Gaza Strip expressing their fears over the lives of their relatives.
According to the Hebrew media the families of the captives asked the Israeli war cabinet to hold an urgent meeting with them.
After obtaining a permit to rally outside Netanyahu’s house in Caesarea on Saturday the families threatened to escalate their protests if the war cabinet refused to hold a meeting with them to talk about the fate and safety of their detained relatives in Gaza in light of the ground operation which started last night.
In a related context al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas estimated that at least 50 Israeli captives had been killed in Gaza as a result of Israeli attacks.
