Demonstrations in world capitals cities condemning Israeli aggression

Several Arab and international capitals and cities witnessed demonstrations and marches on Saturday condemning the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and showing support for the Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas Movement and other Palestinian resistance factions.

In the same context the Algerian government announced the cancellation of all celebrations scheduled for the upcoming anniversary of the Liberation Revolution at the beginning of next month as well as the National Press Day ceremony next Sunday due to the Israeli massacres Meanwhile demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people took place in the capital and several cities.

United Kingdom
A massive march took place throughout the capital of the United Kingdom and London Police stated that “up to 100000 protesters gathered in a pro-Palestine march.”

This comes amid strong warnings from the police that anyone expressing support for Hamas will be subject to arrest and they will not tolerate any act considered a hate crime.

United States
The transportation authority in New York City stated that hundreds of protesters demanding a ceasefire in Gaza closed down the Grand Central Station one of the main transportation hubs in the city according to the New York Times.

The transportation authority posted on their website “Grand Central Station is closed until further notice due to a protest” and urged passengers to use alternative stations and consider increased travel time.

One of the banners raised inside the building read “Mourn the dead and fight with all might for the living.”

France
In Paris protesters took to the streets in marches condemning the aggression on Gaza holding banners that said “They have shut down the internet but not our hearts. Stop the war.”

Indonesia
In the Indonesian capital Jakarta the opposition party “Justice and Welfare” led a demonstration against the Israeli aggression. Student organizations and labor unions in the world’s largest Muslim-populated country had earlier organized similar protests.

Turkey
Most Turkish cities witnessed demonstrations against the Israeli attacks on Gaza. In the capital Ankara supporters of the Anatolian Youth Association gathered in front of the parliament building chanting slogans against Israel and its attacks on Gaza while expressing support for the Palestinians. In Istanbul protesters gathered at several locations including in front of the Israeli consulate Sarachane Park and the Uskudar area.

Tunisia
Dozens of protests and demonstrations took place in Tunisia in support of Gaza which is being subjected to intensive bombing killings electricity and internet cuts destruction of all aspects of life and the suppression of all sources of information about the massacres and war crimes that are occurring.

Morocco
Moroccan cities witnessed massive protests and demonstrations last night and today especially in Rabat Casablanca Tangier Tetouan Salé Marrakech El Jadida Safi M’diq Temara Agadir and other cities. Several cities saw multiple demonstrations taking place at the same time.

Jordan
Popular marches were organized in Amman and other Jordanian cities and the coordination committee of online platforms held a solidarity stand to condemn the aggression and occupation crimes against the Palestinian people including the killing of innocents the destruction of facilities buildings hospitals and schools.

The Jordanian Journalists’ Syndicate called for a solidarity stand to be held next Wednesday to condemn the aggression and occupation crimes against the Palestinian people including the killing of innocent civilians and the destruction of facilities buildings hospitals and schools.
