The Syrian army announced in a statement on Monday that military positions in the country’s southern province of Daraa were hit by Israeli airstrikes overnight.
The statement said the attacks launched from the direction of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights caused damage to the targeted sites.
The Israeli occupation army claimed it targeted sites in Daraa province in response to alleged rockets fired from Syria towards the Golan Heights.
