For the 24th consecutive day Israel’s massive carnage continues to claim more lives in the Gaza Strip as its army persists in bombing more homes and neighborhoods and massacring civilians including children and women.
Since last night and the dawn of Monday dozens of citizens were martyred and many others were injured in renewed waves of aerial attacks on different areas of Gaza.
On Sunday evening the health ministry in Gaza said that the death toll climbed to over 8005 martyrs and the number of the injured to over 20000 civilians.
According to the ministry of health in Gaza 70 percent of the fatalities in Gaza are women and children.
Meanwhile the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital for cancer patients in Gaza has been severely damaged by nearby Israeli airstrikes.
“The occupation not only increased the suffering and pain of cancer patients and deprived them of medicines and travel for treatment abroad but it now endangers their lives by targeting the hospital’s surroundings” Subhi Skaik director general of the hospital said on Facebook.
Israeli warplanes also continued to heavily bombard the homes and streets around Al-Quds Hospital in Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City in order to force all the civilians inside it to leave it and go south.
According to Palestinian health officials there are more than 400 patients in Al-Quds Hospital as well as about 14000 civilians who took refuge in the facility and a number of medical personnel.
The Red Crescent said that the Israeli occupation army threatened anew to bomb Al-Quds Hospital and ordered its immediate evacuation affirming that it would not evacuate the hospital.
The Red Crescent appealed to the international community to intervene urgently and immediately to prevent Israel from bombing the hospital and committing a massacre.
