Clashes broke out in different areas of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem on Monday evening. Several casualties were reported during the confrontations.
In Occupied Jerusalem the Israeli forces stormed the Shuafat refugee camp arrested a young man after brutally assaulting him which led to the outbreak of violent clashes. A fire broke out in the camp due to the heavy use of teargas bombs.
Similar clashes also erupted in Al-Tur in Occupied Jerusalem after police forces stormed the family house of the martyr Adam Abu Al-Hawa who was killed earlier on Monday after carrying out a stabbing attack. Teargas bombs and wastewater were intensively used against homes and shops in the town.
Also in Occupied Jerusalem two young men were injured in Anata and Al-Ram towns by Israeli gunfire.
In Nablus 14 Palestinians many of whom were children suffered from live shot injuries as clashes erupted in Zawata town. Medical sources affirmed that the Israeli forces fired live bullets at an ambulance during the events.
In Ramallah a 15-year-old child was injured as clashes erupted in Safa town after it was violently stormed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF). Another young man was also injured in Dura al-Qara’ town.
In Jericho the IOF fired flares in Al-Auja town which led to the outbreak of violent confrontation amid heavy use of live ammunition and teargas bombs.
