Izzat Al-Resheq a member of Hamas’s political bureau stated that the Israeli claims of freeing a female soldier from Gaza are aimed to disrupt the video of the three female prisoners which was a great shock to the Israeli society” referring to a short video released by Al-Qassam Brigades earlier on Monday.
He said that these allegations are an attempt to alleviate the pressure related to the issue of Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip.
Resheq also said that “it was aimed at causing confusion and perplexity and that no one believed the Israeli story.” The final word comes from the resistance he added.
The video showed three female captives one of whom fulminated about Israel’s response to the hostage crisis. It is unclear when the video was shot.
Earlier on Monday the Israeli occupation announced in a statement that one Israeli female soldier who was allegedly captured on Oct. 7 was released. No further details or footage were revealed.
Also on Monday Al-Qassam Brigades released a video showing three female captives one of whom fulminated about Israel’s response to the hostage crisis.
