Israel’s bloodbath in Gaza continues for 29th day

For the 29th consecutive day Saturday Israel’s massive carnage continues to claim more lives in the Gaza Strip as its army persists in bombing more homes facilities and neighborhoods and massacring civilians including children and women.

Since last night dozens of citizens were martyred and many others were injured in renewed waves of aerial and artillery attacks on different areas of Gaza.

On Saturday afternoon the health ministry in Gaza said that the death toll climbed to over 9488 martyrs and the number of the injured to over 24158 civilians.

According to the ministry of health in Gaza 70 percent of the fatalities in Gaza are women and children.

Meanwhile dozens of civilians were killed and injured during Israeli attacks on the house of al-Kahlut family in Jabalia refugee camp and a street near a bakery in northern Gaza.

The Red Crescent for its part reported that 21 displaced citizens were injured some seriously when the Israeli occupation army bombed the entrance of Al-Quds Hospital’s emergency department.

Officials at Al-Quds Hospital said that Israeli warplanes bombed solar panels on the rooftop of the hospital and destroyed a nearby residential building.

Warplanes also bombed al-Mashtal area and al-Katiba Mosque in Gaza City with no reported casualties.

Several citizens were massacred and injured after the Israeli army bombed homes in the neighborhoods of Sabra and Shuja’iya.

Two other citizens were martyred and many others were injured following an aerial attack on the home of Abu Samaan family in al-Zeitoun neighborhood.

In the morning airstrikes targeted al-Fakhoura School in Jabalia camp (north of Gaza) where thousands of displaced civilians took refuge killing and injuring at least 150 people.

An Israeli attack on the entrance of Al-Naser Pediatric Hospital also claimed the lives of two civilians and injured many others.

An aerial attack also destroyed the main power generator at Al-Wafa Hospital which caused a major fire in the place.

Earlier warplanes bombed a house in Tal al-Zaatar area near the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza and destroyed a central water tank supplying several neighborhoods in eastern Rafah south of Gaza.

Israeli gunboats also bombed the shores of Rafah and Deir al-Balah destroying a number of fishing boats while warplanes targeted solar panels on rooftops of buildings near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

Warplanes also bombed several homes structures and streets in different areas of Gaza including the house of Ismail Haneyya head of Hamas’s political bureau in al-Shati refugee camp. A large number of casualties mostly children and women were reported following the strikes.
