A group of Palestinian resistance fighters engaged in fierce clashes at dawn Tuesday with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Tulkarem refugee camp in the West Bank.
According to local sources the IOF bombed a target in the camp using a drone which injured a number of citizens and attacked an apartment with a suicide drone.
Some citizens including the mother of martyr Izzuddin Awwad were wounded during the violent clashes that took place on the outskirts of the camp.
The Red Crescent said that its ambulance crews evacuated four wounded citizens to hospitals including one seriously.
Local sources said that the IOF stormed Tulkarem camp with over 60 military vehicles including two bulldozers besieged the area around it and deployed snipers on rooftops of some buildings.
Israeli bulldozers also caused widespread destruction to roads and infrastructure in the camp while the electricity supply to homes were cut off after Israeli soldiers attacked power transformers.
