The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bombed after midnight two hospitals and the surroundings of a third as part of their ongoing genocide war against the people of the Gaza Strip.
The spokesman for the Health Ministry Ashraf Al-Qudra confirmed that the Israeli warplanes bombed a car in the courtyard of the Shifa Medical Complex leaving several injuries.
Journalists reported that the car was located near the journalists’ tent in the courtyard of the Shifa Medical Complex. However none of them were injured.
The Israeli warplanes also bombed – just before midnight – Al-Rantisi Specialized Hospital for Children which led to the outbreak of a huge fire.
The hospital director launched a call for help to save the children being treated in the hospital.
Late on Thursday Israeli aircraft violently bombed the vicinity of the Indonesian Hospital causing a state of terror and panic among thousands of displaced and injured people.
A footage published by the Al Jazeera TV channel showed shells falling next to the hospital while people were rushing to take cover. Civilians were also seen fleeing to escape the shells.
Hundreds of civilians crowded into the hospital’s corridors to take shelter from the bombing.
Al-Qudra earlier said that about 20000 Palestinians took refuge in the Indonesian hospital to escape the Israeli bombing.
The Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza earlier warned of the near complete collapse of service sectors and the deterioration of the medical system after municipalities failed to supply citizens with water open blocked streets or address the waste.
The GMO highlighted that the Gaza Strip has almost become a complete disaster zone due to the Israeli policy of collective punishment for starvation genocide and ethnic cleansing.
