The Israeli occupation police destroyed on Wednesday morning the home of martyr Khairy Alqam in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan south of the Aqsa Mosque.
According to Wadi Hilweh Information Center Israeli police forces encircled a building in Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Silwan before storming an apartment where the family of martyr Alqam lived and preparing it for detonation.
The Center said that the police forces evacuated the apartment which is located in the third floor of a four-story building before detonating it.
In last January the Israeli high court of justice approved the demolition of this apartment that belongs to the family of martyr Alqam after he carried out a shooting operation in the same month inside the illegal settlement of Navi Yaqoub. He shot dead seven settlers before he was martyred during clashes with Israeli soldiers.
