The Palestinian resistance continued on Thursday to carry out operations against the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in different areas of the Gaza Strip destroying their armored vehicles and killing soldiers.
According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter sounds of fierce clashes and explosions are being heard in northern Gaza and the south and west of Gaza City amid intensive Israeli air and artillery bombardment in those areas.
Meanwhile the Israeli army announced in the morning that two senior officers were killed and two soldiers were injured in the ongoing confrontation with Palestinian resistance fighters in northern Gaza.
According to the Israeli army at least 51 soldiers have been killed since it carried out its ground operations in the Gaza Strip on October 27. However political analysts and resistance factions affirm that the number of the Israeli soldiers killed during this period is more than what Israel has announced so far.
