The Israeli police forces imposed tight restrictions on Palestinian access to Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem during the Friday prayer.
Only about 4000 worshipers were able to perform Friday prayer in the Aqsa Mosque amid tight restrictions.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Occupied Jerusalem affirmed that Israeli police have only allowed elderly people’s access to the holy shrine since October 7.
However a few worshipers managed to reach the Lions’ Gate and enter Aqsa Mosque.
Footage swept social media platforms showing Israeli police violently attacking the worshipers.
Meanwhile hundreds of Palestinians performed the Friday prayer in the streets near the Old City after they were prevented from reaching the holy site.
