Gaza: Israel’s genocide enters day 47

Wednesday 22-November-2023

For the 47th consecutive day Israel’s massive carnage continues to claim more lives in the besieged Gaza Strip as its army is racing against time to carry out as many massacres as possible against civilians ahead of the four-day ceasefire that may take effect tonight or early tomorrow.

Since last night and Wednesday morning dozens of citizens have been reportedly martyred and many others have been wounded in renewed aerial and artillery attacks on different areas of Gaza.

On Tuesday night the health ministry in Gaza estimated that the death toll surged to over 14128 martyrs mostly women and children while the number of the wounded citizens climbed to over 33000 although the real number of casualties is believed to be much higher than that as there are many civilians still under the rubble of buildings and others dying of injuries.

According to the latest developments Israeli warplanes carried out many aerial attacks on the neighborhoods of Gaza City in the past hours amid appeals from local residents to evacuate casualties.

Meanwhile there is a complete absence of ambulance and medical services in Gaza City and northern Gaza after all the hospitals there have become out of commission.

In central Gaza a number of casualties were evacuated to Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital after the Israeli occupation army bombed a house in Nuseirat refugee camp.

The Israeli army also bombed two houses in Gaza street and al-Alawin street in northern Gaza killing at least 11 civilians and wounding others.

Other Israeli attacks claimed the lives of eight civilians in Israeli attacks on homes in al-Jeneina neighborhood in Rafah and Bani Suhaila in the east of Khan Yunis.

Last night two journalists identified as Mohamed al-Zaq (Al Quds Today channel) and Assem al-Barsh (Al Rai agency) were killed when the Israeli army bombed homes in the east and north of Gaza.

The Israeli army also launched artillery and aerial attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and on Wednesday morning and afternoon killing and wounding dozens of civilians including children and women.
