Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya and other top leaders from the Movement held a meeting on Tuesday in Doha with senior Fatah officials Nasser al-Qudwa and Samir al-Mash’harawi.
During the meeting the Hamas and Fatah leaders discussed the dire situation in the Gaza Strip and explored ways of stopping the Israeli aggression against the civilians and provide them with urgent humanitarian needs.
The Palestinian leaders expressed their pride in the bravery of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and the steadfastness of the Gazans despite their exposure to brutal attacks around the clock.
The leaders talked about the inter-Palestinian situation in general the importance of rebuilding the Palestinian house on solid national foundations and the role of the Palestinian factions in foiling the goals the Israeli occupation state seeks to achieve through its aggression against Gaza.
They also discussed different issues of mutual interest in the Palestinian arena especially the Israeli crimes and violations in Jerusalem and the West Bank and the incarceration conditions of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
