Four Palestinians martyred others injured by IOF gunfire in W. Bank

Four Palestinian young men were killed and others were injured on Saturday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Jenin City and opened fire at local youths during clashes with them.

According to local sources four young men were shot dead and six others were injured by live ammunition after Israeli forces encircled the hospitals of Martyr Khalil Suleiman and Ibn Sina and the Red Crescent headquarters in Jenin and clashed with local youths.

The young martyrs are Ammar Abul-Wafa and Ahmed Abul-Haija Mohamed Furaihat and Mahmoud Abul-Haija.

During the IOF raid in Jenin resistance fighters reportedly clashed with Israeli soldiers and attacked them with homemade bombs.

Widespread destruction to roads cars and property was caused by IOF bulldozers during the raid.

In a separate incident three citizens were injured by live bullets during evening clashes with the IOF near Ofer jail in Beitunia town.

Local sources said that Israeli soldiers attacked dozens of citizens who were waiting near Ofer jail for the release of another group of prisoners as part of a prisoner swap deal between the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and the Israeli occupation government.

In Nablus an 11-year-old child suffered shrapnel wounds when local youths in Burqa village clashed with extremist settlers escorted by police forces.

The clashes started when villagers hastened to repel an attack on their lands by settlers and soldiers.

Another child aged 16 was also injured by IOF bullets in his legs during similar clashes in Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil particularly in al-Daher area near the illegal settlement of Karmei Tzur.
