Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the city of Tubas on Tuesday morning and besieged a house before firing a number of projectiles at it, claiming that a resistance fighter was entrenched inside it.
Local sources said that special IOF forces raided a suburb in the city and encircled a house then asked the “wanted” Palestinian youth to surrender or else the house will be bombed.
They added that a number of inhabitants inside the house got out of it and were arrested by the IOF soldiers, who used them as human shields after handcuffing them.
The soldiers fired a number of projectiles at the house as IOF reinforcements reached the area including a military bulldozer.
The armed wing of Hamas, al-Qassam Brigades, in the West Bank said that its fighters engaged the Israeli troops in Tubas city and that its fighter Mohammed Abul Haithem withdrew safely from the house.
