A number of Palestinian citizens were reportedly injured on Tuesday and Wednesday during the ongoing Israeli aggression in Jenin and its refugee camp.

Two Palestinian children and one young man were injured on Tuesday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Jenin City and its refugee camp and embarked on firing live ammunition at local residents and raiding homes and hospitals.

According to medical sources, two children and one young man wounded by bullets in their lower extremities were evacuated to Al-Razi Hospital in Jenin.

The IOF also obstructed the movement of ambulances and paramedics and used them as human shields during its raid, which continued until Wednesday.

Local sources said that local youths and resistance fighters clashed with Israeli forces in different areas of Jenin.

Resistance fighters from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas and other factions reportedly showered Israeli troops and their vehicles with bullets and detonated explosive devices at them.

The IOF kidnaped on Tuesday seven young men from different areas of Jenin. One of the detainees was snatched by Israeli soldiers from an ambulance after he suffered a bullet injury during the events.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli forces went on the rampage through Jenin and its refugee camp, destroying public and private property, firing live ammunition, tear gas canisters and stun grenades, besieging and raiding homes and hospitals and assaulting citizens and paramedics.

Later on Wednesday, the IOF declared Jenin and its refugee camp a closed military zone, amid clashes with resistance fighters.

Local sources reported that the IOF continued to raid and encircle homes, destroy roads, infrastructure and private property, and target homes with missiles from drones.

The Red Crescent said that its ambulances evacuated a number of wounded citizens and young men to hospitals as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression in Jenin, adding Israeli soldiers obstructed the work of its ambulance crews.

The administration of Jenin Hospital also said that the IOF still prevents its doctors from providing medical help for any wounded citizen.

Meanwhile, al-Qassam Brigades and other resistance groups continued to confront the Israeli forces in different neighborhoods of Jenin.

In another incident, Israeli forces with bulldozers stormed last night the refugee camps of Ein al-Sultan and Aqabat Jabr in Jericho and raided a number of homes, amid violent clashes with local youths.

The IOF also stormed last night and at dawn Wednesday different areas of the West Bank, including the towns of Dura, al-Dhahiriya and Awwa in al-Khalil and Askar refugee camp in Nablus, with no reported arrests.
