Two Palestinian children were killed on Wednesday afternoon by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during its ongoing aggression against the local residents of Jenin and its refugee camp.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, two children were shot dead by IOF gunfire in Jenin City.
The Red Crescent, for its part, said that one of its ambulance crews evacuated a nine-year-old child from al-Basatin neighborhood in Jenin.
Local residents identified the slain kids as 8-year-old Adam al-Ghoul and15-year-old Basel Abul-Wafa.
Later, video footage has emerged showing the two kids being gunned down by Israeli sniper fire.
Meanwhile, unconfirmed news started circulating in the last few hours about the martyrdom of two resistance commanders form the Jenin Brigade.
The IOF recently escalated its attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property in different West Bank areas, especially in Jenin.
Local sources said on Wednesday that the IOF forced the residents of al-Damj neighborhood in Jenin to leave their homes as its bulldozers embarked on destroying homes, roads and cars.
The sources added that one house was bombed by a military drone in the same neighborhood, while eyewitnesses reported hearing resounding explosions in Jenin as a result of drone attacks on multiple homes.
The IOF also kidnaped several citizens from Jenin and deployed snipers on rooftops of some buildings.
