The Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate has said that a total of 44 Palestinian journalists are being held in Israeli jails, including 29 who were kidnaped and jailed after al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas launched Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on October 7.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Syndicate explained that the Israeli occupation forces had kidnaped 41 male and female journalists from October 7 to November 28, but now there are 29 of them in jail after the release of 12 journalists recently.
In addition to those 29 journalists, there are already 15 detained journalists, who were kidnaped and jailed before the October 7th events. Accordingly, their total number is 44 journalists, according to the Syndicate.
Last Saturday, the Syndicate published the names of 70 journalists and media workers who had been killed during the current Israeli war on Gaza.
