IOF kidnaps several citizens in W. Bank raids

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and at dawn Sunday at least 34 Palestinian citizens, including five young women, during raids in different West Bank areas.

According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped at least 21 citizens, including two female students and a writer, during raids in the towns of ash-Shuyukh, Sa’ir, Beit Kahil and Dura.

One young man was reportedly injured in his leg during clashes between young men and Israeli forces in Sa’ir town.

The IOF kidnaped nine citizens during a raid in Rima town in the northwest of Ramallah and one female university student during a raid in Abiyat area, east of Bethlehem.

The IOF also stormed other areas of Bethlehem, with no reported arrests.

In Jericho, two young men were taken prisoners following violent IOF raids on homes in Ein al-Sultan refugee camp.

In Jenin, the IOF stormed Jenin City, spread in different streets and on rooftops of some tall buildings, amid clashes with local youths.

Local sources said that the Israeli forces intensively fired live bullets during skirmishes with young men in Jenin, adding that one young man was kidnaped after the IOF ransacked his home in the city.
