GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 60 on Tuesday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and level whole blocks and homes and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.

According to local sources, Israeli warplanes carried out intensive attacks at dawn and in the morning on different areas of Gaza.

The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza said that 10 civilians were martyred in an Israeli attack on a house in an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

The Israeli occupation army had launched hundreds of airstrikes since Monday evening on Gaza, amid incursions and fierce resistance in the west and east of Khan Yunis and the towns of al-Qarara, Bani Suheila and Abasan.

Relatives of victims and stranded people in al-Sater al-Gharbi area, Bani Suheila, al-Sater al-Sharqi and Ma’an in Khan Yunis sent distress calls to help them with ambulance and rescue crews due to the presence of many martyrs and wounded civilians following violent Israeli attacks.

This morning, at least 40 martyrs and dozens of wounded civilians were evacuated to Nasser Hospital from the UNRWA-sponsored Ma’an School, which shelters thousands of displaced people, after it was bombed by the Israeli army, as well as from other areas in Khan Yunis.

Several martyrs and wounded civilians were also taken to the European Gaza Hospital after the Israeli army bombed neighborhoods in the eastern area of Khan Yunis.

Media sources said that ambulance crews cannot reach different bombed areas of Gaza, where there are large numbers of martyrs and wounded citizens.

They also said that Israeli tanks and troops encircled the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, amid intensive gunfire and airstrikes around it.

There are 108 martyrs, dozens of wounded citizens and over 7,000 displaced people at the Kamal Adwan Hospital, according to senior health official Munir al-Barsh.

Barsh said that the hospital was plunged into darkness after its power generators completely stopped operating due to a severe fuel shortage.

The Israeli army reportedly bombed Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, killing at least one civilian.

Local sources reported that an airstrike destroyed at dawn the Hudhayfa Ibn al-Yaman Mosque in Khan Yunis, wounding several citizens.

Dozens of casualties were also reported following morning and afternoon artillery and aerial attacks on different areas of Gaza, especially in Khan Yunis, northern Gaza and Gaza City.
