313 Palestinians were killed, and 558 others were injured in Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, the Palestinian Health Ministry declared on Friday evening, saying that many of the casualties are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said that the Gaza death toll has risen to 17,487.
About 46,480 others were injured since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, on October 7, Al-Qudra added.
He further pointed out that 70% of the victims are children and women.
Al-Qudra affirmed that injured people were left bleeding until they died after Israeli forces prevented ambulances from evacuating the casualties.
He further said that only 618 people left the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing for treatment, including 407 injured people and 211 sick people.
Only 1% of the total wounded were able to cross the Rafah crossing for medical treatment, he added.
Al-Qudra pointed out that Israel is still detaining 36 health personnel from the Gaza Strip, including the Director General of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Dr. Muhammad Abu Salmiya.
