Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed a shelter school in the northern Gaza Strip, detained and severely abused dozens of Palestinian civilians. Men were stripped of their clothes and detained, while women were forced to leave the school.
Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said it received appeals from displaced Gazans who reported that their numbers were in thousands and were surrounded by Israeli military vehicles and tanks inside Salah Al-din school in Al-Rimal neighborhood in northern Gaza.
The displaced citizens said the Israeli forces raided the school and opened indiscriminate gunfire at the people who were sheltering in the place, and stripped men and beat them violently.
They also told Euro-Med Monitor that IOF snipers were stationed in the vicinity of the school, targeting everyone who tried to leave, while bodies of martyrs were scattered on the ground.
Local sources reported that women had to leave the school heading to Al-Shifa Medical Complex which has been turned into a shelter for thousands of the displaced from eastern Gaza.
Euro-Med Monitor warned of the Israeli escalated war crimes against civilians, especially those who resorted to shelter centers, just because of their refusal to comply with Israeli orders of forceful displacement.
