The Israeli police forces demolished a residential building in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday morning.
Jerusalemite sources affirmed that Israeli policemen stormed the neighborhood in large numbers and demolished a two-story residential building, each floor containing four apartments, located near Wadi Qaddum.
Four Palestinian families became homeless as a result of the demolition process.
Owners of the building paid nearly 800,000 shekels as penalties to the Israeli municipal authorities since the establishment of the building in 2016. However, an Israeli demolition order was issued last week.
The Israeli authorities continue to demolish dozens of Palestinian homes in Occupied Jerusalem every year as part of their displacement policies.
