An Israeli soldier was moderately injured on Sunday evening when a Palestinian young man stabbed him near the West Bank town of Rantis in Ramallah.
According to local sources, a young man stabbed a soldier at a gas station near the West Bank’s Rantis checkpoint before fleeing the scene.
The Hebrew media said that the wounded soldier chased the stabber and opened fire at him before he was transferred to hospital.
Later, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Rantis town and reportedly detained the young man who carried out the stabbing incident.
