The Palestinian Telecommunications Company announced on Wednesday a total blackout of telecommunications and Internet services in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing Israeli aggression.

For its part, Ooredoo company announced the destruction of the generators powering telecommunications and Internet companies in the center and the south of the Gaza Strip, while companies remain partially working in the north.

This is the sixth time Gaza suffers from a total communication blackout since the Israeli aggression began on October 7.

On December 14, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) had cut off communications and Internet services in the Gaza Strip for four days, before they were partially restored with a limited return of services to some areas of the Strip.

The communication blackout is usually accompanied by an escalation in Israeli massacres against Palestinians in the beleaguered enclave.

Since October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in about 80,000 martyrs, missing and wounded, with 70% of whom children and women, in addition to the destruction of hundreds of thousands of housing units and the forced displacement of about two million people.
