At least 20,057 Palestinians have been killed and 53,320 others injured in Israeli attacks since October 7, the Palestinian Health Ministry revealed on Friday.
The Health Ministry also pointed out that 5,000 of the wounded are in serious conditions and need to be taken out for treatment abroad.
Spokesman for the Ministry Ashraf Al-Qudra affirmed that out of the 53,000 wounded people, only 411 managed to travel for treatment.
Al-Qudra also said that more than 50,000 pregnant women and about 900,000 children are suffering from malnutrition.
Speaking about the health situation in the Gaza Strip, Al-Qudra pointed out that the hospitals and medical teams in Rafah are unable to provide life-saving services.
Al-Qudra also noted that only 70 trucks are entering the Gaza Strip per day, while the needs of the population require 1,000 trucks per day.
