Violent clashes broke out last night and at dawn Sunday between Palestinian resistance fighters and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Tulkarem and Nablus in the West Bank.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed Tulkarem City and Nur Shams refugee camp and clashed with resistance fighters.
The IOF reportedly imposed a tight siege on Nur Shams camp, used drones to monitor its streets, deployed snipers and and bulldozed roads, vital infrastructure and a number of private cars.
Israeli soldiers also raided homes and interrogated its residents, amid clashes with local youths.
Eyewitnesses said that resistance fighters detonated explosive devices at IOF vehicles in the vicinity of Nur Shams camp and opened fire at Israeli forces in Tulkarem City and the camp.
In Nablus, resistance fighters opened fire at Israeli forces in the popular housing neighborhood of the city.
Local sources said that the Israeli forces came under fire during raids on homes in Nablus City.
In Bethlehem, the IOF broke into and ransacked a number of homes in the city, which provoked clashes with local youths.
