The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched at dawn Tuesday a large-scale raid and arrest campaign in different parts of the West Bank, amid widespread confrontations and clashes.

In Tulkarem, the IOF troops blew up the first floor of a local house at the entrance to Nour Shams camp, east of the city.

The Israeli forces surrounded Nour Shams, east of the city, and imposed a tight siege, where bulldozers destroyed the main water line feeding Nour Shams, bulldozed the main street adjacent to the camp, and destroyed its infrastructure.

The Israeli bulldozers also destroyed the walls of a number of homes, schools, and mosques in the camp and crushed Palestinian vehicles.

The Israeli forces also bombed a building under construction at the entrance to the Aktaba suburb, east of Tulkarem.

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) also conducted reconnaissance flights overhead.

Several Palestinian homes were also raided, and their residents were interrogated. At least one young man was detained during the raids.

This is the second aggression against the refugee camp in a week.

In Ramallah, the Israeli forces arrested Khaleda Jarrar, a member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front, and ex-prisoner Ihsan Shtayyeh, after raiding their homes.

The head of the Safa Village Council, Rashad Karaja, was also detained during the raids.

Meanwhile, a young man was brutally attacked and beaten after being stopped at an Israeli military checkpoint north of Ramallah. He was later moved to a hospital for treatment.

The IOF troops also broke into Beitunia town and stormed a local store in the industrial area.

In Tubas, clashes erupted after the IOF stormed Tammoun town amid heavy fire of live ammunition and teargas bombs.
