The Hamas Movement said that the Israeli foreign minister’s decision to cancel the visa of a UN staff member and also deny the visa request of another UN employee reflected “the Israeli arrogance, which is sponsored by the US administration.”
In a statement on Tuesday, Hamas said that the Israeli occupation government takes such a measure against UN officials to impose its misleading and false narrative on the international community, although all its claims against the resistance in Gaza had been refuted by international media reports and investigations.
Hamas called on the international community and the UN to stand up to such Israeli arrogance and take stronger positions towards the Israeli government, “which sees itself above international law and accountability.”
Since its military aggression against Gaza started on October 7, the Israeli government has embarked on muzzling the truth and banishing people, including UN officials, who speak about its horrific crimes and violations in the Gaza Strip.
