The Spokesman of Ministry of Health, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, said that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have carried out 16 massacres over the past 24 hours against entire families in Gaza, claiming the lives of 196 people and injuring 325 others.
Al-Qudra affirmed, in a press release on Wednesday, that the toll of the Israeli aggression on Gaza had risen to 21,110 martyrs and 55,243 wounded since October 7.
He said that the IOF has been intensively targeting the vicinity of Nasser Medical Complex, warning of repeating the same scenario of what happened to Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
He called on international institutions to take effective and urgent steps to ensure the protection of Nasser Medical Complex, its personnel, the wounded and patients, and thousands of displaced people there.
Al-Qudra also appealed to international institutions to urgently intervene to operate Al-Shifa Medical Complex again.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Health received a medical delegation through Global Rahma Foundation in the US to support medical teams during the Israeli brutal aggression on Gaza.
He announced the arrival of specialized medical teams in cooperation with international health institutions to work in Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, Nasser Medical Complex, and the European Gaza Hospital.
He revealed that the Ministry of Health has started to operate the Indonesian Field Hospital in Rafah, in cooperation with Doctors Without Borders in France, to follow up injuries transferred from hospitals.
