The Central Command of the Palestinian Forces Alliance held a meeting in Beirut on Wednesday grouping Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine- General Command, the Popular Struggle Front, the Palestine Liberation Front, the vanguards of the Popular Liberation War – Al-Saiqa, and Fatah Intifada Movement.
The attendees saluted the steadfast Palestinian people, appreciating the sacrifices of the martyrs, wounded, and the heroic prisoners who have all been confronting the ongoing Israeli aggression for 82 days, targeting civilians and facilities, killing children, women, doctors, paramedics, journalists, civil defense men, and United Nations employees.
The factions also saluted the valiant resistance fighters “who are waging Al-Aqsa Flood battle in defense of our Palestinian people, land, and sanctities which constituted a glorious and qualitative milestone in the history of the Palestinian cause and dealt a strategic blow to the Zionist entity and its functional role in the region which is protecting the interests of the US and the West in the region.” The factions stressed the right of the Palestinian people to continue resistance until liberation, return and independence.
The Palestinian Forces praised the unified position of the resistance on the necessity of halting the Israeli-American aggression first, withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, bringing in humanitarian and relief aid and fuel, transferring the wounded for treatment abroad, and reaching an exchange deal on the basis of all for all.
The factions paid tribute to the peoples of the Arab and Muslim nation and the free people of the world who stand with the Palestinian people and cause, calling for more activism in support of the Palestinian people and its valiant resistance.
They also stressed the importance of unifying the Palestinian position in the face of the Israeli occupation and its ongoing aggression on civilians in the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem and the West Bank, and the necessity of reforming the Palestinian political system after cessation of the aggression.
The factions also held the US administration fully responsible for the massacres and atrocities carried out against the Palestinian people, stressing that the continuation of the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip would not have occurred without the American military, financial, and political support.
The forces called on the international community and the Arab and Muslim countries to put pressure to immediately stop the Israeli aggression, allow entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, and facilitating the travel of thousands of the wounded for treatment abroad, affirming their rejection of Israel’s projects of displacement.
