A Palestinian young man was shot dead on Saturday afternoon after he reportedly carried out a car-ramming operation near al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank.
Eyewitnesses said that two Israeli soldiers were injured when a driver rammed his car into them on a road near al-Fawwar camp, adding that other soldiers opened fire at the vehicle.
The slain young man, who carried out the ramming operation, was identified as Mohamed al-Masalmeh from Beit Awwa town in the west of Dura town.
Yesterday, five Israeli soldiers were wounded following a similar operation near Dura town.
