Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian herders in the northern Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank on Monday, injuring two Palestinian shepherds.

Mutaz Besharat, an official in charge of monitoring the Israeli settlement file in Tubas and Jordan Valley, said a group of settlers escorted by Israeli police and occupation forces attacked a number of Palestinian herders while grazing their sheep near Street 90 and assaulted them.

The attack resulted in the injury of two shepherds. One of them, Qadri Daraghmeh, was transferred to the Turkish Tubas Hospital for treatment.

The settlers also opened fire on the car of Louay Daraghmeh, causing serious damage to it before it was confiscated by Israeli police.

The attacking settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces and police, seized 500 cows owned by citizens Qadri Daraghmeh and Adel Daraghmeh. The cows were loaded into trucks and taken to an unknown destination.
