The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detonated on Tuesday the houses of martyrs Murad and Ibrahim Nimr, resistance fighters from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, in Sur Baher town, southeast of Jerusalem.
According to local sources, a large number of Israeli soldiers stormed Sur Baher town in the morning, encircled the martyrs’ homes, and forced their residents to evacuate before they embarked on planting explosives inside them and then detonated them.
The IOF also forced families living in nearby houses to leave them before they carried out the punitive measure against the martyrs’ homes.
The brothers, Murad and Ibrahim, carried out a shooting operation on a road near the illegal settlement of Ramot in Occupied Jerusalem last November. Four Jewish settlers were killed as a result of the operation.
At the time, the Hamas Movement applauded the shooting operation in Jerusalem as a “heroic act” and a “natural response to the Israeli war crimes in Gaza.”
