WEST BANK, (PIC)
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at least 50 Palestinian citizens, including children, during a large-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank, which started last night and continued into Tuesday morning.
According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner Society, most of the detainees are from al-Khalil province.
The IOF arrest campaigns in the West Bank involved violent practices by Israeli soldiers, including physical and verbal attacks, maltreatment, threats, on-site interrogations, acts of sabotage and shootings.
Since the seventh of last October, over 5,980 Palestinian citizens have been kidnaped, detained or jailed by the IOF in the West Bank. This number of detainees does not include those who were kidnaped from Gaza.
