Al-Nasser Salah al-Deen Brigades announced on Friday the killing of an Israeli officer they held captive in Gaza, in the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
The Brigades published a video clip of the officer Ohad Yahalomi Amnon Ya’aloni while receiving treatment after being “deliberately” targeted by an Israeli attack.
The Brigades asserted that despite the diligent attempts to save Ya’loni’s life, Israeli authorities insisted on killing him in another airstrike a few days ago.
Before his death, in the video recording, Ya’aloni appealed to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling on him to release all Israeli captives in Gaza, to meet the demands of the resistance in Gaza and stop the war.
Addressing Netanyahu, he said, “Please stop creating problems. We want the families of these people to live with respect, with no more pain, and all the captives here to be released.”
