Two Hezbollah resistance fighters were killed on Sunday when an Israeli army drone bombed their vehicle in south Lebanon, local security sources said.
Five other Lebanese citizens were reportedly injured in the area where the attack happened.
Local residents said that ambulances and fire trucks were dispatched to the targeted area, where a Lebanese military checkpoint is located.
The identities of the martyrs are still unknown, but a source close to the Hezbollah group said they were not senior figures.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance fired multiple rockets at two Israeli army posts in an occupied border area in the south of Lebanon.
