GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 111 on Thursday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods, homes and shelter centers and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza last night and on Thursday morning, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

According to the health ministry in Gaza, one martyr was evacuated to the European Hospital in Khan Yunis after Israeli snipers opened fire at civilians in the southern area of the province.

Two citizens were also killed and others were injured when the Israeli army attacked them in al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

According to local sources, a citizen identified as Hosni Baraka, 45, and two children, aged 12 and 9 from the family of Sammour, were killed by the Israeli army in a street in northern Khan Yunis, while their bodies are still in the area.

A civil defense crew also evacuated two martyrs and a number of wounded citizens after an Israeli warplane bombed a house belonging to the family of al-Ghoul in the densely-populated neighborhood of Tal as-Sultan in Rafah, where several displaced families also live.

Israeli soldiers also stormed the apartment building of Abu Samak, kidnaped all the men and left the women and children to go to the Red Crescent headquarters in the west of Khan Yunis, while the ongoing aerial and artillery attacks on the same area claimed the lives of dozens of citizens, who are still there.

Last night, Israeli warplanes bombed a residential block in al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing four children.

Other casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial and artillery attacks last night and today, in the midst of a hunger crisis hitting the entire war-torn coastal enclave, especially its northern areas.

Meanwhile, spokesman for the health ministry in Gaza Ashraf al-Qudra described the health and humanitarian situation in the Nasser Hospital as “extremely catastrophic,” affirming that the hospital’s operating rooms had run out of anesthetics and pain-relieving medication for sick and wounded civilians, as well as other medical needs and food supplies.

He also said that the remaining amount of fuel used to operate the hospital’s power generators would run out within five days.
