A new Israeli massacre has been carried out on Thursday afternoon against thousands of civilians while waiting for humanitarian aid in southern Gaza, according to Health Ministry in Gaza.
The Ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said that “this massacre has resulted in the martyrdom of 20 Palestinians and the injury of 150 others,” indicating that the number of victims is likely to increase as dozens of serious injuries have reached Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza, amid shortage of medical equipment.
Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli occupation forces targeted citizens, who were waiting to receive aid, with artillery shells and armed drones, noting that the anticipated aid has not reached Gaza yet.
UNRWA had previously announced more than once, that its trucks carrying aid had come under fire from the Israeli side.
Since October 7, Israel has blocked border crossings between the Gaza Strip and the outside world, except for Rafah crossing with Egypt which was partially opened for the entry of limited aid and the exit of only dozens of people of critical injury cases and a number of foreign passport holders.
