Head of Hamas’s foreign political bureau Khaled Mishaal has mourned the late al-Qassam Brigades commander, Omar Daghlas, saying he lived as a fighter on the Palestinian land, serving the resistance and the national cause.
In a statement, Mishaal described Daghlas as a “complete fighter” and “one of the Palestinian geniuses who developed himself militarily and cognitively.”
The Hamas leader said that the Palestinian people’s current battle, which almost entered its fourth month, against the criminal Israeli enemy opened up a strong and broad path towards liberation and return.
“We are making history, and making pride and dignity for our people and cause as well as for our Ummah and the entire humanity,” he added.
He expressed his belief that the Palestinian people’s victory against the enemy is near despite the huge sacrifices, the massive destruction and the massacres.
