Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched wide-scale raid and arrest campaigns in various areas of the West Bank on Sunday amid scattered confrontations.
In Ramallah, the IOF arrested two brothers from the town of Beitunia and raided several towns west of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested the brothers, Zakaria and Taha Hamed Armosh, after raiding their house in the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah. The sources added that the IOF soldiers wreaked havoc in the house.
In the same context, Israeli occupation forces stormed several towns west of Ramallah, including Beit Awwar Al-Tahta, Khirbet Al-Masbah, and Beit Liqya, and raided several houses of citizens without any reports of arrests or injuries.
In Jenin, two citizens were injured and two others were arrested during the IOF raid on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, amid clashes. Local sources said that two citizens were injured by bullet shrapnel, while the occupation forces arrested two other citizens during their raid on the town.
The sources added that the occupation forces stormed Qabatiya amidst the hovering of drones and raided several neighborhoods, especially the Sabaya and Abu Al-Rab neighborhoods, leading to clashes with the occupation soldiers firing live ammunition at the citizens.
The sources also mentioned that the occupation forces intensified their military presence around the villages of Musliya, Shahid Triangle, Al-Jarba, Marka, and Sanur.
Furthermore, the IOF soldiers raided the city of Jenin and the Hadaf area, amid violent clashes. The Directorate of Education in Jenin announced a delay in the start of the school day due to the IOF incursion.
The occupation forces arrested the young man, Sohib Majdi Abu Al-Haija, after raiding his house in the Hadaf neighborhood.
The IOF also arrested the wounded child, Fares Muhammad Shalamesh, from the village of Berqin, who was previously shot by the IOF in the abdomen, lung, and hand, resulting in the amputation of his finger, after raiding his family’s house and his uncle’s house.
In Qalqilya, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a woman and a former prisoner from the city of Qalqilya. A local source reported that the occupation forces stormed the city and arrested Zahra Khudraj and the former prisoner Wisam Bakir after raiding and searching their homes.
In Bethlehem, the IOF arrested Osama Awadallah from the town of Janatah, south-east of Bethlehem, after raiding and searching his house. The IOF also arrested Idris Muhammad Souman ,46 years old, from Bethlehem and Muhammad Abu Zeid from the Doha town, west of Bethlehem, after raiding their homes.
The IOF distributed leaflets in the Doha town, threatening the residents not to participate in national activities and raided the city of Bethlehem, as well as the towns of Al-Khader, Doha, Artas, and the Dheisheh refugee camp.
In Tubas, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Tayasir east of Tubas. Local sources said that the occupation forces stormed the village and deployed in one of its neighborhoods. Earlier, the IOF briefly stationed in the city of Tubas and then withdrew to Tayasir, where clashes erupted.
In Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least five citizens during clashes that broke out in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, after midnight. Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided the town from several entrances, raided two houses, confiscated several vehicles belonging to citizens in front of the municipality building in the town center, and arrested five citizens.
The sources mentioned that clashes erupted between the youth and the occupation forces in the streets of the town, during which the soldiers randomly fired live ammunition, sound grenades, and tear gas.
Meanwhile, local sources reported that the occupation forces invaded the village of Salem east of Nablus, raided several commercial shops in the village center, searched the present citizens and their phones, without reporting any arrests.
In Al Khalil, the IOF stormed the town of Al-Shuyukh, northeast of Al Khalil, and arrested at least four citizens. According to local sources, the IOF arrested Issa Halayqa, a leader in the Fatah movement, and three of his sons.
